Itinerary

DAY 1

ARRIVAL

Upon arriving in Sri Lanka, transfer to a hotel close to the international airport. Relax and unwind after your flight, preparing yourself for the adventure ahead.

DAY 2-3-4

KALPITIYA - Kite Surfing

Kalpitiya is most famed as being the best place in Sri Lanka for kitesurfing, attracting enthusiasts from all levels to test the winds on an exciting lagoon expedition. Besides being a haven for kitesurfers, Kalpitiya is also known to be a popular place for snorkelling, diving and dolphin watching.

DAY 5-6-7

KITULGALA - Adventure Sports

Considered to be a hub for the adventure enthusiast, the attractions in Kitulgala also make it prime for the nature enthusiast too. With so many options for various activities like white water rafting or abseiling, the area offers visitors a memorable experience!

DAY 8-9-10

BENTOTA - Water Sports

If you’re dreaming of surf, sand and some water sports, Bentota is the one of best place in Sri Lanka.

DAY 11

COLOMBO - Shopping

On the final day of your tour, transfer to a City Hotel in Colombo. You can experience a city tour and shopping in Sri Lanka.

Items of personal nature like Porterage, laundry, telephone charges, shopping, wines and alcoholic beverages, laundry, telephone calls, tips, etc.
Any services, meals or activity charges other than those included in the group tour itinerary.
Camera Permits at sites.

Cancellation

The cancelation policy would be applicable 25 days prior to the booking date, whereby the client will be charged 50% of the tour cost or the property applicable rate. 14 days prior to arrival would incur a 100% cancelation charge upon the booking or property applicable rate - including ‘no show’.

"We have had an amazing holiday in Sri Lanka. Our driver/tour guide was excellent, very friendly and provided lots of interesting information both on excursions and driving around. He seemed to go over and above what we would think would be expected of a tour guide and within the ten days we felt like we had made a new friend! Despite the current economic and fuel crisis, the holiday went really smoothly which is a credit to both the tour company and the hotel industry"

"We spent 13 days on a tour of Sri Lanka with our guide Anton Almeida. The trip was incredible and made even better by Anton's knowledge of the history of Sri Lanka, deep understanding of wildlife and willingness to join with some of the tough hikes we did (e.g. Overnight Adam's Peak, Horton's Plains and Ella Gap). Travelling to a foreign country can have some challenges but Anton was always on time, gave great tips of stops while driving and the best places for food, massages and many other local experiences. Overall it was great and ask for Anton for any future trip you'll be sure to have a fun time!"

"This was our first visit to Sri Lanka, but we had such a great time I’m sure we will be back. This was in no small part due to the excellent arrangements made by Walkers, and our wonderful and attentive guide Janaka. I guess you never know what it’s going to be like to be ferried around for eight days by a total stranger, but Janaka wasn’t a stranger for long. By the end of day two it felt like we were being shown Sri Lanka by a mate – albeit one that happened to be particularly knowledgeable about the country, its history, culture, and wildlife! We had some great experiences in and around Habarana and Kandy, learned a lot of fascinating stuff, and had a load of fun in the process. Even Janaka learned something new – he certainly won’t be parking under a mango tree full of fruit bats again! How he got the car clean before morning we’ll never know… Our week or so’s site seeing flew by, but it teed us up nicely for Christmas and New Year relaxing at the beach in Weligama. So, thanks again to everyone at Walkers, but most especially to Janaka – in a place famous for its jewels, Janaka stands out as a little gem."

"We had a great 11 night Leopard Safari tour anound Sri Lanka. The driver/guide Hirantha was very polite couteous knowledgable and helpful at all times. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The car was always spotlessly clean and tidy inside and out. The hotels were good and the food was excellent. "
